AFS (American Field Service): A Gateway to Global Learning and Leadership
We are thrilled to announce that The Hyderabad Public School, Kadapa has secured a Winner’s Position at the National Level in the AFS Youth Leadership Challenge 2025, organized virtually by SDPS International School, Indore!
Participating in AFS programs offers immense benefits to both schools and students fostering global awareness, leadership skills, cultural exchange, and collaborative learning. It provides a platform where young minds can engage in meaningful conversations and projects that transcend borders, helping them grow into responsible global citizens.
This year marked our school’s very first participation in the AFS Youth Leadership Challenge, organized virtually by SDPS International School, Indore. Representing The Hyderabad Public School, Kadapa, our Class X students, Veda and Joshitha, took up the inspiring theme: "Preserving Local Art and Culture".
The challenge saw participation from 20 teams across 40 schools nationwide. After the initial rounds, 7 teams were shortlisted for the finals — and we are proud to share that The Hyderabad Public School, Kadapa was among them.
In the final round, the top three teams were declared national winners. With immense pride, we announce that The Hyderabad Public School, Kadapa secured a winner’s position at the national level in this prestigious event.
This accomplishment not only reflects the talent and dedication of our students and Teachers but also highlights the power of such collaborative platforms in nurturing leadership and a sense of cultural identity among youth.
